Chili Oil Avocado Sourdough Toast

Talk about an easy and delicious breakfast or lunch. For the time it takes the eggs to finish cooking, your avocado toast is completed. Topped off with the legendary Trader Joe’s Chili Oil, you have mastered the gourmet $12+ Avo toast dish.

What you’ll need:

2 eggs
1 piece sourdough bread
1 avocado
1 lemon
salt
chili oil crunch

1. Place a pot of water on boiling heat. Once boiling drop your eggs (shell on) and set a timer for 6-7 minutes depending on how runny you like your yolk. In this recipe, we are going with soft boiled.

2. I don’t own a toaster but I do own an oven. I place my oven on the high broil setting and pop in my piece of toast. Check on this regularly as it burns quickly. On average it won’t need more than 4-5 minutes tops.

3. For your avocado, add the avocado to a bowl. Add the juice of 1/2-1 lemon + salt. Mash with a fork until desired consistency is met.

4. Remove your eggs from the boiling water. Ensure you run your eggs under cool water. This will stop the cooking and keep the yolks semi runny.

5. Peel your eggs and assemble your masterpiece.
